Recovering bookmarks in recent versions of Firefox
Save the exported bookmarks HTML file to online storage like OneDrive. 
In the drop-down menu that appears, select Export bookmarks to HTML. At the top of the window, click Import and Backup. In the Library window, under the All Bookmarks section, select which set of bookmarks you'd like to back up. Click the Bookmarks icon and then Show All Bookmarks. Select Import and export in the pop-up menu. Click the down arrow next to Add to favorites (or press Alt+Z on your keyboard as a shortcut). Click the Favorites icon in the upper right corner. Your bookmarks should be restored next time you open Microsoft Edge. If a window appears that says Replace or Skip Files, choose Replace the files in the destination.
